Kumar Ashwin is a security professional who works across the offensive and defensive sides of security, acting as a bridge between the two. His work centers on software supply chain security and AI security — breaking systems to understand them, then building guardrails that scale. He focuses on establishing baselines and paved paths that help engineering teams work securely without slowing down.

Ashwin builds open-source tools, trains teams, and shares his research through talks and workshops at conferences around the world. At the core of everything he does is a belief in usable security: if people can’t apply it seamlessly, it isn’t working.
