Hi, I’m Ashwin
I’ve spent time on both sides of security - offensive and defensive - which now lets me act as a bridge between the two. These days, my work revolves around software supply chain security and AI security, jumping between breaking systems to understand them and building guardrails that scale. I focus on establishing baselines and creating paved paths that help engineering teams work securely without slowing down. Along the way, I build tools, train teams, and share my research through blogs, talks and workshops around the world. At the core of everything I do is a belief in usable security, if people can’t apply it seamlessly, it isn’t working.
What I’m focused on
- Research: OSINT techniques, supply chain security practices, & AI security
- Building: tools, guides, and techniques that are actually usable by teams
- Operations: Implementing security across organizations, building baselines, paved paths and optimizing tasks using automation.

Want a short one? I break things to understand them—then turn that chaos into usable security practices for teams. Ultimately, I care about security that works in real engineering environments, not just in theory.
